From there, it continues <span class=\"s1\">through the vineyards<\/span> (vineyard sites: <span class=\"s1\">Winnegsfels, Fels, and Gro\u00e4erd<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The path then crosses the <span class=\"s1\">Kelsbach stream with its cascades<\/span> and continues through the areas <span class=\"s1\">Fronay<\/span> and <span class=\"s1\">Longkaul<\/span>. It then climbs the <span class=\"s2\">Kreuzerberg<\/span>, following the <span class=\"s2\">14 Stations of the Cross<\/span>, up to the <span class=\"s2\">Kreuzkapelle (Chapel of the Cross)<\/span> built in <span class=\"s2\">1737<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">On the hill called <span class=\"s2\">Hougeriicht<\/span>\u2014where in the Middle Ages and up to modern times justice was administered for serious crimes (today only the place name remains)\u2014there is an impressive viewpoint at <span class=\"s2\">Longkaul<\/span>, where a rockslide occurred centuries ago. From here you have a spectacular view over the <span class=\"s2\">vineyards and the Moselle valley<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The path then continues after crossing <span class=\"s2\">Oberdonvener Strasse<\/span>, passing through the <span class=\"s2\">Baamb\u00ebsch<\/span> forest to the <span class=\"s2\">R\u00e9imerdenkmol<\/span>, a <span class=\"s2\">Gallo-Roman funerary monument<\/span> located along the former <span class=\"s2\">Roman road between Metz and Trier<\/span>, heading toward <span class=\"s2\">Potaschberg<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Where today industrial and artisanal zones dominate, <span class=\"s2\">potash was once extracted<\/span>. From there, the path leads toward <span class=\"s1\">Rue Hiel<\/span>, a residential street at the end of which there is a <span class=\"s1\">farm<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The trail then crosses the <span class=\"s1\">A1 motorway bridge<\/span> and continues into the <span class=\"s1\">Haard forest area<\/span>. A highlight along the route is the <span class=\"s1\">Groesteen<\/span>, a <span class=\"s1\">prehistoric dolmen<\/span>, whose history is described in detail online.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">From here, the path continues across the road toward the village of <span class=\"s1\">M\u00fcnschecker<\/span>.
